HOD Manager v1.9.1 House of D Gaming —

⚙ ADMIN PANEL

Server Configurations

Add Server

NAME *

DESCRIPTION

LOCAL IP / HOSTNAME * Address the game server answers Steam queries on

GAME PORT

QUERY PORT

PUBLIC IP for DZSA check Your external / public IP. Used by the DZSA button to pre-fill the server check page. Leave blank to fall back to Local IP.

CONTROL MODE A BEC-owned server must never be started or stopped by the agent: an agent start launches a second copy, and an agent stop is undone by BEC's watchdog.

BOX *

Which machine this server runs on. The box owns the agent URL and API key, so they are stored once per machine — add or edit boxes in Admin → Agent. TEST pings the selected box.

EXPECTED HOSTNAME row override Start/stop refuses unless the agent reports this hostname. Normally blank — set it once on the box in Admin → Agent instead.

BATCH FILE PATH * Full Windows path to the .bat launcher on that box

BEC SERVER ID *

BEC's own id for this server. DISCOVER reads the live list off the box using the key already stored for it — no need to re-type a key.

RUN IN BACKGROUND Server process runs silently — no window on the box's desktop. Uncheck to show a visible cmd window (useful for debugging).

MAIN MAP — ONLY ONE AT A TIME Pripyat, Lux, Chernarus, Deer Isle, Livonia etc. Starting this server is blocked while another main-map server is running on the same box (test and live servers lock independently). Does not apply to BEC-managed servers, which are designed to run together.

LIVE SERVER List this card under LIVE SERVERS instead of DAYZ SERVERS. Same box, same start/stop/restart controls — just a separate section on the dashboard.

Boxes

One card per Windows machine this portal talks to. A box owns everything that belongs to the machine rather than to a server on it: its HOD Agent URL and API key, its own Folder Sync instance, and its own DayZ Launcher path. Servers pick a box in their own row (Servers → Edit), so a key is stored once per machine however many servers run on it. The first box is the default — any server that has not picked one runs there, and it cannot be deleted.

HOD Dashboard Signals

When a test server is started or stopped, this portal sends a signal to the HOD Dashboard so staff are notified there. This is send-only — banners are shown by the Dashboard, not here.

DASHBOARD INGEST URL Full URL of the Dashboard's /api/events/ingest endpoint

DASHBOARD API KEY The Dashboard's ingest key — sent as the x-api-key header

SEND SIGNALS TO DASHBOARD Off = no signals are sent, even if a URL is configured.
